My Work

Copy
Bean

I made four videos for CopyBean, covering their whole business.

Everything from their ethical manifesto to their individual processes.

Vanity Project

“Edward worked with out band Vanity Proj3ct to help shoot clips and music videos promoting out gigs and music. He provided us with some insane shots and a lot of social media content that has really boosted our profile and helped us gain a lot more recognition. He’s also a good personality that gels with people easily and makes working together good fun- thanks Ed!!”

VP's Vlog Shoot

Vanity Project brought me back for their next gig, this time handing me more of the process. I scripted and then edited their announcement reel from raw phone footage they sent over, then shot and cut a full vlog of the gig night.*

*Vlog under construction!

ASUS ROG

“I worked with Edward a few times this year for one of my clients, lead gaming brand ROG. We onboarded him to create content for their TikTok channel and I couldn’t have been happier with the result.

Not only is Edward an amazing person to work with, his content quality and creativity is astonishing. I would jump at the opportunity to work with him again and really believe he will go far.”

Mock vlog

These clips ended up pulling 10x this friend’s average post reach.

A gear test before a client shoot turned into real proof: my friend liked the clips enough to post them himself, and they landed right alongside his top 5% posts.

Guitar Reels

One of three one-take guitar reels from the same shoot. Starts on a zoom pull, ends back on that same frame so it loops with no visible cut. We hiked out to a forest spot just to get this setting.

Dapper Barbers

“Edward did an amazing promo video for my barber shop. Class work and a great lad to work with.”

– Luke, Dapper Barbers Owner

Exeter College Esports

I filmed player interviews for Exeter College Esports in 2025. That led to them bringing me back for a player roster video, for the national finals walk in, and this time round they left a review.

“Ed was fantastic to work with! His work quality was amazing with a swift turn around time! He brought energy and lots of creative vision to the table whilst being easy to work with! Ed created us a team roster video showing local area, players and b-roll as well as photography for each player, creating headshots, posed photos and alike!”

– Michael Gargett, Esports Programme lead @ Exeter College

Short Fight Scene

I’m incredibly proud to have been one of 85 nominees from over 450 Exeter College Media students.

I was nominated for the Best Cinematography award for my short fight scene, which was highly commended by award-winning Director of Photography, Will Reddaway.

His feedback was:

“Highly Commended: Edward Marshall – A disciplined and intentional piece, making confident use of tripod vs handheld movement, natural light, and strong compositional choices. Short, but very well executed. Really felt like a fight scene you’d see in a larger production.”

I’m grateful for the recognition and proud of the work that went into creating this piece.
